Sneakers, once the epitome of street fashion, have gained mass acceptance in high-end fashion. Now, almost every brand under the sun includes sneakers in their collections, which brings me real happiness because designer sneakers = fashion + function. In Shoes Du Mois post back in April, we already singled these Balenciaga kicks out on Mr Porter, but after that they were no longer available on the site. (My hunch is my dashing readers really heeded my advice and bought all of them. HAHA.) If you have fallen in love with them and are now wallowing in regret and self-hatred, today you’re in luck because I found them again in a much cooler color combination– navy, yellow and orange. These beauties feature leather and suede panels with a white leather capped toe and a navy lace-up front as well as a white logo printed navy leather tongue detail with a white and black rubber sole. The best thing is that I have never seen them documented on any street-style blogs, which is really bizarre given how fantastic they look on the model’s feet below. Hurry up and grab them on Matchesfashion.com for…$420. I know, not exactly affordable but much more reasonable compared to those from other brands.
