Look du Jour #4: Feeling sorta kinda blue

It’s funny how at home I’m the ultimate champion at lazing around but once on the road I turn a 360 degree and treasure every fraction of a second. I keep churning out platitudes like if only there were 72 hours a day blah blah blah. (Don’t judge me too hard though; you said similar things at least once or twice too, right?.) This look was shot within the first 30 minutes after I arrived in Florence, lugged 4 giant-ass suitcases onto the second floor of a 600-year old building, checked in my hotel room and changed. Hysteria is truly capable of dispelling any kind of fatigue. This is the first part in a two-part series to show you how versatile linen trousers especially in navy are. You probably won’t be able to tell they’re made of linen from the pictures, but believe me they really are and easily one of the best inventions for summer. As for the shirt, I was incredibly lucky to grab the very last one in my size (and deep discounts to boot) on the rack. And the bag? I have gushed to y’all about it HERE. And the shoes? Wasn’t your painting teacher always telling you that navy and yellow go together? Well, mine never did (except for stifling my creativity along with others who were unwavering in their belief that having an interest in fashion is kind of evil) so I had to school myself. HAHA.
