I just got back to my third world fatherland today after spending nearly 3 weeks in Italy and France. I apologize for the lack of updates, but being out on the road from 8.30AM to 11PM or even later everyday made it very challenging to write anything remotely coherent, let alone of substance 🙁 However, I’m back now and regular posting will resume shortly after the jetlag and European withdrawal are over. I’m having a very severe case of the latter, by the way.
Well, I had an absolutely fan-freakin-tastic trip. The trip isn’t my first time to first-world countries, but I was still completely blown away by everything all day everyday. It also looks like the entire universe was really conspiring in helping me have the best time. I couldn’t ask for a better travel companion. I couldn’t ask for a better weather. I couldn’t ask for more interesting encounters. I couldn’t ask for more luck in being able to catch my trains and flights despite the fact that I arrived at the eleventh hour every time due to either traffic or getting a bit too carried away with the retail therapy. I don’t know if y’all share the same sentiment, but I find Italians and French in general way too cute and hospitable. I love them. I love them. I love them!!!
I did take note of almost everything that happened during the trip and have literally 5,000 pictures to sort out, but I’m really excited about sharing them with you. It will be a long series, especially now that fashion weeks have started. I have a whole lot of catch-up to do with London Fashion week which is happening and mental prep to do for Milan and Paris which will start very soon. It’s gonna be hectic, but I look forward to seeing what designers will churn out.
See y’all soon.
