Three shows that I love most over the last couple of days during New York Fashion Week.
J Crew: This collection reminds me again of why I have loved J Crew for as long as I remember: clean-cut, slim-fit, great for layering, and good quality. The type of clothes that will never ever go out of style. If I were still in New York City, I would make a dash for the nearest J Crew store the minute these pieces were to become available later this year.
Marc by Marc Jacobs: Last year, Marc Jacobs totally killed it with his plaid-dominating collection. This year, plaid seems to be taking a backseat, but whenever it makes an appearance, it rules. Like the coat and the bag in look #2. I myself have a collection of plaid shirts from various designers, but the Marc by Marc Jacobs ones remain my absolute all-time favorites. Also, don’t you think the silky, slinky, loose-fitting and strong color suits in this collection are pretty refreshing?
